The Hand Hotel - Chirk

One of the oldest hotels in Wales, The Hand in Chirk was built in 1610, and offers traditional charm and period features. There is a restaurant, bar, free Wi-Fi and free parking.

All the bedrooms at The Hand Hotel have been thoughtfully decorated and have en-suite bathrooms with a hairdryer. Guests can also benefit from teacoffee and ironing facilities in each room.

The hotel bar and coffee lounge serves light lunches, snacks and beveragesday. The regency style, Coachhouse Restaurant & Grill, offers a dining experience with a more extensive menu using local produce and overlooks the pretty gardens.

Located in North Waless picturesque Ceiriog Valley, the hotel is only a 2-minute walk from Chirk Train Station. The historic Chirk Castle, with its beautiful gardens and Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, is 5 minutes’ drive away.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

Please Note: We do have some pet friendly TwinDouble rooms and also the family room we allow pets. However due to allergies we do not allow petscertain rooms, please check with the hotel before making a booking if you are bringing a pet. Not doing this may result in your booking being refused on arrival if we have no rooms available for pets. A charge of £10 will also be added to the room rate.
