Edinburgh Central Accommodation - Edinburgh

The 5-star Edinburgh Central Accommodation is just 0.5 miles from the shops of Princes Street and Edinburgh Rail Station. It provides a licensed café and restaurant, a shared kitchen and modern rooms with private shower rooms.

The historic Royal Mile can be reached in less than 20 minutes’ walk, and the views from Arthur’s Seat are 1.5 miles away. Vibrant nightlife in Cowgate and bars on George Street are both within a mile’s walk.

The recently refurbished entrance, reception, lounge, cafébar and restaurant provide a comfortable, warm and welcoming space. Guests can enjoy a cooked or continental breakfast, lunch and evening meal in the restaurant. The licensed cafébar serves snacks and drinks until late.

Hostelling Scotland is a charity and membership organisation. For non-members, a supplement per person, per night will be added to the published rate. See Important Information for more details.

The hotel day starts from hour 16:00 and ends at 10:00.

All bookings will include a temporary membership fee per person per night. (Full, existing members of Hostelling Scotland and HI using these channels are not entitled to a membership refund).

Individual reservations (Up to 9 persons) - can cancel free of charge until 3 days before the arrival date. If cancelled within the 3 days before the arrival 100 percent of the total price will be charged.

Groups reservations (more than 9 persons) - different policies and additional supplements will apply. More than 8 weeks (57 days or more) 20% of total cost. 8 – 4 weeks (56- 29 days) 55% of total cost. 4 – 0 weeks (28 - 0 day) 100% of total cost.

No stag or hen parties are permitted at any youth hostel.

Should guests be entitled to a refund or part refund please note that these are processed by Hostelling Scotland National Office, Stirling. It may take 7 to 10 working days from the date of cancellation request for the refund to be processed back onto the original card used.

Parties with children under 12 years will only be accommodated in private rooms,available. Hostelling Scotland advises that additional notice be given to the destination youth hostel when travelling with children, to ensure that suitable accommodation is available.
