The Southcliff Hotel - Folkestone

Overlooking the English Channel, The Southcliff Hotel is situated on The Leas Promenade and only a 1-minute walk from the Leas Cliff Hall venue. The hotel is a 10-minute drive from the Channel Tunnel Terminal and offers free high-speed Wi-Fi inbedrooms and public areas, a stylish bar and wonderful views.

The bedrooms each have teacoffee facilities, a private bathroom with free toiletries, and a TV. Ironing facilities are available upon request. Some have sea views or private balconies.

Just 20 minutes’ drive from Dover Ferry and Cruise Terminals, Southcliff Hotel is a short walk from Folkestone’s sandy beach. Folkestone Harbour is a 10-minute walk, and Folkestone Central Railway Station is just half a mile away.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

Property Access: Please note that there are several steps leading up to the main entrance of our property. Additionally, the lift providing access to the guest rooms is not able to accommodate full-size wheelchairs.

Payment Policy: We kindly inform you that cash payments are not accepted at our hotel.

Late Arrival Procedure: If your check-in time will be after 11:00 PM, we request that you contact the hotel before 10:00 PM on your arrival day to let us know. If prior notification is not received by 10:00 PM, a late check-in charge of up to £50 may be applied, at the hotels discretion.

Dining Update: Our restaurant is currently undergoing refurbishment and will be closed. This means we will not be serving breakfast or any other food items during this time.

It also benefits from an en-suite bathroom. Please note, these rooms are directly above the hotels busy public bar, which has a DJ at weekends. ;
