Spread Eagle Hotel And Spa - Midhurst

Set within its own picturesque grounds, this award-winning former coaching inn, dating back in parts to 1430, provides traditional accommodation and a luxurious spa in the historic Sussex market town of Midhurst.

The Spread Eagle Hotel still retains many of its original features, including sloping floors, inglenook fireplaces and oak beams. The award-winning restaurant also features a beautiful stained glass window.

In contrast to the historic aspects of the hotel, the Spread Eagle offers a modern spa, complete with an indoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room and gym. Alternatively you can indulge with a personalised beauty treatment.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

Dogs are welcome. Dogs are charged at GBP 25 per dog per night, a maximum of two dogs per room and we recommend booking a Midhurst Room or above to ensure you have sufficient space. A dog bed and food will be provided. Guide dogs are permitted at no extra charge.

Please note, children are permitted in the pool daily between 10:30-12:30 and 15:00-17:00.

Sussex Four Poster Room. Located in the oldest part of the hotel and incorporating many of the historic features of the original property, these luxurious rooms include four-poster bed, TV, teacoffee making facilities and en suite bathroom. ;
Sussex Junior Suite. Double room with king-size bed, feature fireplace, separate sitting room in which the sofa can be made up to sleep 2 young children or 1 adult. The bedroom dates back to c1430 and features a TV, teacoffee making facilities and en suite bathroom. ;
Premier Double Room with Four Poster Bed. Light and airy large double room with four-poster bed. The room dates back to c1650 with feature oak panelling, a fireplace and an en suite bathroom with roll-top bath. ;
Feature Four Poster Room. Spacious room dating back to c1430, and named the Queens Suite due to the visit of Elizabeth I in 1591. With a feature four-poster bed and a separate sitting room in which the sofa can be made up to sleep 2 young children or 1 extra adult. ;
Midhurst Room. This room offers a TV, radio, and tea and coffee making facilities.
