Just a 5-minute drive from North Beach and East Sand Beach, the 4-star Rufflets Hotel is 2 miles from St Andrews Castle.

Dogs are welcome in our exterior rooms located in the Gatehouse and Rufflets Lodge.

Our Woodland Suites are luxury Shepherd Huts that are located within the grounds of the hotel.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

For group bookings that include more than 4 rooms, we will require a 20% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. The minimum cancellation policy will be 7 days.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

Classic Double Room. Located in the East wing, these rooms are individually styled with traditional decor, soft furnishings and window blinds. The fully tiled bathroom features a bath with shower or a spa bath. Views overlook the Garden Suite and the fields beyond. ;
Classic Twin Room. Located in the East wing, these rooms are individually styled with traditional decor, soft furnishings and window blinds. The fully tiled bathroom features a bath with shower or a spa bath. Views overlook the Garden Suite and the fields beyond. ;
Standard Double Room. In the East Wing, these rooms are individually styled and include a standard queen bed. The fully-tiled bathrooms are compact with bathtubshower combinations. Views are restricted, overlooking the Garden Suite and the fields beyond. ;
Turret Room. Traditionally furnished and beautifully decorated in cream shades or bold colours. These spacious Junior Suites boast a separate seating area in the houses turret. Include a modern bathroom with a power shower, while some feature their own balcony or a four-poster bed. ;
Family Room (2 Adults + 2 Children). Located in the external lodge or on the first floor of the main house. The lodge Family Room features a master king bedroom and a panoramic view of the garden, a smaller twin bedroom, and a shared bathroom with bath and shower. The other Family Room is spacious, modern and located on the first floor with views over the fields. It offers a master king bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a large marble-tiled bathroom with a bath and power shower. Dogs are welcome in the lodge Family Room by prior arrangement. ;
Suite. Luxurious Suite located either at the front of the main house with 2 south-facing windows and antique furnishings, or separate from the hotel with its own parking space and modern decor. Includes an en suite bathroom with a power shower and either a spa bath or a marble-topped bath, as well as a seating area and garden views. ;
Superior Double or Twin Room. Featuring free toiletries and bathrobes, this triple room includes a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, a bath and a hairdryer. The spacious triple room features a tea and coffee maker, a wardrobe, a carpeted floor, heating, as well as a TV. The unit has 1 bed. ;
Gatehouse Classic Double Room. The Gatehouse Classic is located in the Gatehouse, a short walk from the main entrance to the hotel, with its own designated parking. This ground-floor room features a contemporary design and a king-size zip-and-link bed with a feature upholstered headboard. It can also be used as twin beds. The tiled bathroom has a low profile walk-in shower with a drench shower, and a feature freestanding bath and basin. ;
Gatehouse Superior Double Room. The Gatehouse Superior is located in the Gatehouse, a short walk from the main hotel, with its own designated parking to the rear. The bedroom has a king-size zip-and-link bed, which can be separatedtwin beds. Guests will find a sitting area decorated in a contemporary design in the room. The double sofa bed can accommodate up to two children or one adult, on request. The tiled bathroom has a wet-room style walk-in shower with a drench shower and a handheld shower, a feature double-ended bath, a basin, and a smaller hand wash basin adjacent to the toilet. ;

They feature a double bedroom with a copper roll-top bath along with a separate en suite and shower. The living room area comprises a cosy seating space area with a wood burning stove, dining table with inlaid games board and a kitchenette. ;
Family Woodland Suite (Luxury Shepherd Hut). The Family Woodland Suites are bespoke luxury Shepherd Huts that have been have individually designed and decorated. They feature a double bedroom, a separate en suite and shower and a dining table that converts to the childrens double bed.
